Little Strings is an international Indie Folk-Pop artist, playing catchy self-penned songs from Carlisle to Brussels. She sings about the people and happenings around her on her ukulele, piano and occasionally on various shaky things. She is from the UK and is currently touring Europe. Little Strings has a new EP out, available online and on CD now.

Little Strings performed for Carlisle Fringe Festival and Manchester Fringe Festival 2017 and recently performed her first gig in Belgium, playing at Flamingo Bar in Brussels.

Her festival performances include; Carlisle Fringe 2017, Greater Manchester Fringe Festival 2017, Whitehaven Festival 2017, Chester Live 2017, Buddies yn Betws 2017, Salford Music Festival 2016, Carlisle Fringe 2016, Hoggfest 2016, Aspatria Music Festival 2016 and at MileCastle66 festival 2016 where Feeder was headlining, Queens Birthday Street Party Carlisle. Little Strings was part of Carlisle Music City Festival 2014, WellyFest 2015, Headstock 2015.

The self-titled EP was recorded and mixed by Ben Rogerson, a producer and member of Cumbrian band The Unsung and the artwork is by Cumbrian artist and musician James Ovens.

In 2015, Clare was Cumbria ‘Band of The Week’ published online and in print. She has a 2:1 degree in Drama and Musical Theatre Performance where she learnt how to hone her musician and performance skills to a professional level.

As an artist, Clare loves to collaborate;
Recently she has joined melodic rock/pop band Blind Fiction as a keyboardist and backing singer where they have played at The Old Fire Station Carlisle, headlined The Brickyard Carlisle and played a band set at Within The Walls Fest and MileCastle66 Festival.

When supporting a band or playing the headliner, Clare endeavours to play mostly original songs and to engage with her audience as they share in music and in the community it creates together.
