Local organisation Chester Live based in Chester your support to secure vital funding

Chester Live are calling for the support of the local community to help win funding as part of the Aviva Community Fund 2017, for their project the Chester Live Street Festival 2018.

Chester Live is relying on votes to increase their chances of winning funding of up to £25,000 which they hope will help the event bring a community cohesion through live music, and will introduce people of all ages and ethnic backgrounds to local live acts from Chester and surrounding areas. Only projects with the most votes will become finalists, so additional support is vital.

Chester Live is a community based, live music event which will take place from the 21st – 24th June 2018 across the city of Chester. The 2018 event will be the event’s fourth year.

The culmination of the festival is the Chester Live Street Festival which will take place on Sunday 24th June 2018 on Brook Street, Chester.

Dan Read (Chester Live Festival Coordinator) says: “The 2017 Chester Live Street Festival attracted nearly 6000 people to Brook Street, Chester and was a major boost for the local areas economy. Feedback shows that the event has had an incredibly positive affect on Chester’s most diverse street, and has brought many communities together”
