Chester Live has just confirmed the dates for the 6th edition of their live music project which takes place across all of the city of Chester. The 2020 festival will run from 18th – 21st June 2020.

Festival Coordinator Dan Read said, ‘We’re excited to reveal our 2020 dates and we’ll move back to our more traditional June date rather than July. 2020 will be our 6th year of running this festival but it does get harder and harder to make the event work and viable for us. The team and I have invested a lot of time, effort and our own money into the event and I know there were those who fealt we should take a ‘fallow’ year in 2020. However, we are back in 2020 and as always we’re hoping to deliver another ground breaking event. We’re also hoping we can bring back our Chester Live Street Festival in 2020 but that can only happen with the support of the local community. Watch this space because it’s going to be a blast!’

Chester Live has constantly generated a buzz within the city and shown a proven track record of increasing turnover for businesses within the city. The 2018 event, which included the Chester Live Street Festival on Brook Street, Chester brought over 18,000 to the city over the festival weekend.
